Weekly Photo Challenge: Flowers

I have to admit, when I saw this challenge for the week, I groaned loudly. I just am not a flower person. I don’t keep plants in the house. I don’t have a sprawling garden full of flowers, like many of my neighbors do. I yawn at the notion of going and visiting our local attractions that involve many varieties of flowers. Don’t get me wrong, I like them, I just don’t get excited about them, and that means they are just not a subject of my photography. In fact I scanned my vast library of photos, and could find nothing to share.
Nothing that is until I broadened the scope of the photos a bit. So without further ado, I give you my version of flowers…that being my two daughters in floral attire from Easter’s past.

It is so funny though…I have literally taken thousands of pictures and not one real flower…at least nothing I would feature in such a post
